Terms of service
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms set out how law firms may use EOIRTracker, what we provide, and what each of us is responsible for. They are written to be read; please do.
The agreement#
These terms are an agreement between Abundance App LLC (“we”, “us”), which runs EOIRTracker, and the law firm or organization that opens an EOIRTracker account (“your firm”, “you”). They cover go.eoirtracker.com, our API and the emails and texts the service sends.
By creating an account, or by using EOIRTracker as a member of a firm’s account, you accept these terms. If you accept them for a firm, you confirm you are allowed to bind it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these terms.
What EOIRTracker does#
EOIRTracker checks the public case-status website of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) for the cases your firm adds, records what it shows, and tells your team when something changes — a hearing scheduled or moved, a new court, a decision. It can also send hearing reminders, add hearings to a connected Google or Outlook calendar, send notices to your clients by email or text and record their confirmation, and connect to your own software through our API.
We check each case regularly, but we do not promise a particular schedule. A check can fail or be delayed — for example when EOIR’s website is down, slow, changed or blocking automated visits — and we retry when it does.
Not a law firm, not the government#
- We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. Nothing in EOIRTracker is legal advice, and using it does not create a lawyer–client relationship with us.
- We are not part of, endorsed by or affiliated with EOIR, the US Department of Justice or any government agency. We read the same public website anyone can, and have no special access to court records.
Court information can be late or wrong — always verify#
Everything EOIRTracker shows about a case comes from EOIR’s public website. That website can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and we can miss or misread a change. A hearing can move between our checks. Times are shown as the court lists them.
EOIRTracker helps you notice changes; it does not replace your firm’s own docketing or your professional duty to know your clients’ hearing dates and deadlines. Before you act on anything, confirm it with EOIR or the court directly. Notices we send to your clients on your behalf carry the same limits.
Your account and your team#
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for everyone you invite to your firm’s account and for what they do there. Each person needs their own sign-in; do not share passwords.
- Keep sign-in details safe. We strongly recommend two-step sign-in, which a firm owner can require for the whole team.
- Tell us at support@eoirtracker.com straight away if you think someone has got into your account.
Your clients’ information#
Your firm decides which cases to track and what client details to add, and remains responsible for that information. You confirm that:
- you are entitled to give us each A-Number and the client details you add, and to have us look up those cases — normally because you represent the client or have their permission;
- before you turn on client notices, you have each client’s permission to contact them by email, and by text message if you turn texts on, at the address and number you give us; and
- you will remove a client’s contact details, or turn notices off, when you no longer have that permission.
You own your firm’s data. You give us permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to provide EOIRTracker to you, as the privacy policy describes.
Plans, the free trial and payment#
- Plans. Each plan has a monthly or yearly price and a limit on how many active cases you can track, shown on the plans page. When you reach the limit, cases you already track keep being checked, but you cannot add more until you upgrade.
- Free trial. A new firm gets one 14-day free trial. A card is needed to start it. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription starts automatically when it ends and your card is charged. Each firm gets one trial only.
- Billing. We bill in advance, each month or year, through Stripe, until you cancel. Prices do not include any taxes that apply.
- Changing plan. Upgrades and downgrades take effect straight away and are prorated. A downgrade is refused if you have more active cases than the new plan allows.
- Price changes. We will email the account owner at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription. You can cancel before then.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we will tell the account owner. If it is not fixed, we may suspend or end the subscription.
Cancelling and refunds#
- A firm owner can cancel from Billing in Settings. The subscription then ends at the close of the period you have paid for, and you keep full use of the service until then. You can undo the cancellation before that date.
- To cancel during the free trial, write to support@eoirtracker.com before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
- Closing your account (from Settings) when you are its only member cancels the subscription immediately and deletes the firm’s data, as the privacy policy explains.
- Refunds. Payments are not refundable, including for the unused part of a period, except where the law requires a refund. If something has gone wrong, write to us and we will look at it.
Acceptable use#
You agree not to:
- track cases you have no legitimate reason to track, or use EOIRTracker to watch, profile or harass anyone;
- use the service for anything unlawful, or in breach of your professional obligations;
- try to reach another firm’s data, test or bypass our security, or interfere with the service or other customers’ use of it;
- copy, scrape, resell or rent out the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- use the API beyond its published limits, or share credentials with people outside your firm; or
- send us anything harmful, such as malicious software.
API and connected services#
API credentials belong to your firm; keep them secret and revoke any you no longer use. Google Calendar, Outlook and other services you connect are provided by those companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and disconnecting one stops us sending to it.
Our software#
We own EOIRTracker, its software, design and content (except your firm’s data and the court’s public information). While your account is in good standing you may use it for your firm’s work under these terms. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely.
Changes and availability#
We work to keep EOIRTracker running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that substantially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell the account owner in advance.
Suspension and ending the agreement#
You can stop at any time by cancelling and closing your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you time to download your data. The sections on accuracy, your clients’ information, refunds, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue after the agreement ends.
Disclaimers#
Apart from what these terms expressly say, EOIRTracker is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, including that the service or the court information it shows will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limit on our liability#
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or business, or losses caused by inaccurate, late or missing court information — including a missed hearing or deadline; and
- our total liability for all claims about EOIRTracker is limited to the amount your firm paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Your responsibility to us#
Your firm will cover our reasonable costs and losses from a claim by a third party — including one of your clients — that arises from the information you gave us, the notices you had us send, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law and disputes#
The laws of the State of California govern these terms, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. Any dispute about them will be decided by the state and federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to those courts’ jurisdiction. Before starting any formal dispute, please write to us at support@eoirtracker.com so we can try to resolve it.
Changes to these terms#
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will email each firm’s account owner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use EOIRTracker after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel.
